About Us

Learning is personal and powerful, and confidence and creativity grow with every interaction in and out of the classroom.

Children’s PLACE offers a stimulating and diverse early learning environment, allowing children the opportunity to learn from their environment while developing valuable academic and life skills.  It is our goal to care for children in a safe and nurturing setting while involving them in a developmentally appropriate program that fully promotes each child’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive and adaptive skills.

Classrooms

Children’s PLACE follows, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool as well as infants and toddlers. Each classroom focuses on the child’s individual developmental levels, while enhancing their physical, social, emotional, cognitive and adaptive skills. Since children do not acquire skills at the same time or all at once, life-long learning requires playing with a purpose, through intentional teaching. We encourage children to experience the environment using their senses. The center is also licensed through the State Department of Health and Human Services, and monitored by the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Each classroom provides a “My Day” an overview of what your child has done with us for each day.
